Taipei City, Taiwan – July 5, 2018 – QSAN Technology Inc. today has officially passed the VMmark 3 benchmark test with its XCubeSAN XS5226D.
What is VMmark3?
VMmark is a free tool that is used to accurately measure the performance and scalability of virtualization environments. The VMmark benchmark combines commonly-virtualized applications into predefined bundles called “tiles.” The VMmark 3 score is determined by the number of VMmark tiles a virtualized platform can run, as well as the cumulative performance of those tiles and a variety of platform-level workloads.
How did QSAN do?
The results of the VMmark3 test ran by StorageReview showed that the QSAN XCubeSAN XS5226D scored 10.85 @ 10 tiles, putting QSAN at the number 1* spot in the 10-tile gamut.
“Since the introduction of the QSAN XCubeSAN XS5200 product series, our storage systems have been demonstrating solid performance and have now achieved a new top score in the VMmark 3 test results, scoring a proud 10.85 at 10 tiles,” said Wilson Fang, SAN Product Manager at QSAN. “We are working diligently to enable customers running VMware to achieve new levels of efficiency and integration, especially in mission-critical environments such as very dense web, database, or large-scale email services,” added Fang.
