Taipei, Taiwan, 31January 2018– QSAN Technology Inc, an expert of iSCSI and FC SAN systems for enterprises and SMBs, today announced the launch of the brand new unified storage series “TrioNAS” featuring the integration of NAS and iSCSI SAN into 2U and 1U chassis along with many enterprise-level features like compression, thin provisioning, dedup and SSD caching to address the demanding needs of SMBs.
For years QSAN has won many proven records in enterprise markets and numerous vertical applications. Now TrioNAS is aimed to offer the enterprise-class and award-winning capabilities for SMB customers at competitive price, allowing smaller organizations to manage IT infrastructure at minimum efforts. Helping users to save more resources, the new TrioNAS is designed to be highly efficient, green and reliable.
TrioNAS bring SMB clients compression, thin provisioning and dedup functions that once belong to enterprise segment only at very high cost. With all the data efficiency features, TrioNAS enables smaller companies to back up data without worrying about redundant data swallowing up storage capacity.
“QSAN always keeps in mind to bring maximized price performance values to users,” said Daniel Lin, sales director at QSAN. “With the new TrioNAS, QSAN is pleased to be able to satisfy the backup storage needs for a wider range of customers.”
In addition, TrioNAS is equipped with 80 Plus Platinum power supplies to enhance energy efficiency. The systems can automatically detect the fan speed, temperature as well as current/voltage inside the PSU to provide optimized settings and status alerts.
Last but not least, TrioNAS adopts ZFS file system that employs copy-on-write transactional semantics to validate data stored under its protection to avoid data inconsistencies. The self-healing architecture enables the system to detect silent data corruption and correct error on the fly.
